Sean Erickson, the company founder, has worked as a Firefighter in San Diego County for 14 years. He has had a diverse background in the fire service, holding positions from fire inspection and code
enforcement, to engine and truck company operations. He is currently a Firefighter with the Camp Pendleton Fire Department.
Sean has been on the ground fighting most of the major brush fires we’ve had in San Diego in the last decade:

Fire Home Safety was started because he grew tired of seeing homes destroyed needlessly. As a San Diego
native, he grew up watching this county change to what it is today. For years,
he has been a consultant, working with communities, developers, and individual
home owners to create strategies that greatly increase the chances of the homes
surviving a firestorm.
Sean, a proud father of four, and married to Dr. Sara Ford DVM, a leading San Diego Veterinarian and Founder of The S. Ford Foundation for Animals.
Together they donate countless hours to local communities.
